Hello ! My name is Adrienne, born in Hungary I live in Belgium since 2000. I am happy Mom of Zoé and Kostas and I am passionate about early childhood development and the world of animals. I offer a warm and cosy  family daycare in a green environment with plenty opportunities for sensory stimulation and outdoor activities.  I privilege healthy and diverse feeding and I am open to welcome children who are 'different' or with special needs. 

After 15 years of working in the management of organisations, my project  'De Vlinders' took shape gradually though the awareness and revelation my own children brought me about my inner motivations and the progressive works that took place to build the current space that can welcome up to 8 children.

The Butterflies - De Vlinders is a family child care welcoming children from 3 months to 4 years old.

I welcome your little one(s) in a peaceful setting on the edge of Sonian Forest , in a family setting , ensuring a smooth transition between family and an enlarged community of friends later on in the kindergarten.

In my overall care approach I put a great emphasis on considering the sensorial, motoric, emotional and psychological development of a child as a whole, each aspect supporting and balancing the others. Activities offered both in- and outdoor are stimulating the awakening of autonomy, self-motivation thus support the development of self-esteem while encouraging the expression of needs and emotions through play. Outdoor sensory activities support the relating to and respect for other living beings.
